Paper & suppliers
Where possible Entegy engage suppliers who have their own sustainable practices in place. This may include the use of soy based inks, direct to plate processes and the use of recycled or preferably carbon neutral paper stocks.
Office practice
Entegy is committed to becoming more sustainable and we love to do our part.
We have reduced our energy use through the simple installation of more energy efficient lighting and introducing a switch-off policy for equipment that doesn’t need to be on 24/7 (copiers, printers, air conditioners and computers).
Entegy has replaced its energy source with a greener alternative in the Government accredited Origin GreenPower. What we can’t replace we offset by taking part in the Origin Energy Carbon Reduction Scheme™. See originenergy.com.au/business for more information.
We also operate a near paperless office environment. Our online administration system creates a resource centre between our business, our clients and suppliers.
Singing Kites is a grass roots aid organisation who strive to provide assistance and support to help communities in Cambodia move out of the cycle of poverty.
The organisation consists of a group of like minded people, who believe that we can contribute something of worth, to show people in developing countries that we care.
Singing Kites current projects are those initiatives which assist people in the impoverished rural village of Tanop, to establish micro-businesses, and in the building of an educational centre to teach English, agricultural, and health practises.
Entegy dedicates time and resources to Singing Kites on an ongoing basis. We also sponsor students’ university courses in Cambodia to assist in educating future generations. We urge you to visit singingkites.org to find out more about this great organisation... where your time or money goes directly into building a future for an impoverished community.
